The Adelaide Equestrian Festival and leading international equestrian network Horse & Country (H&C) have confirmed their continued broadcast partnership for 2026, ensuring Australia’s only CCI5* event will once again reach audiences around the world via H&C’s global platforms and streaming service, H&C+. The 2025 Adelaide Equestrian Festival achieved outstanding international exposure through its partnership to date with Horse & Country.
Since the broadcast of the 2025 Adelaide Equestrian Festival Highlights Show in May, the program has aired 60 times globally, reaching an estimated 600,000 viewers across multiple continents.
Of those, approximately 25,000 viewers tuned in from Australia and New Zealand, where the linear TV channel is available on Samsung TV Plus, LG Channels, and Fetch TV.
Horse & Country’s global footprint extends across the United Kingdom, Ireland, The
Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Austria, and the United
States, providing the Adelaide Equestrian Festival with unparalleled international reach and
visibility.
Jonathan Rippon, Director of Content at Horse & Country, said:
"We are proud to continue our partnership with the Adelaide Equestrian Festival, the sole 5* event in the Southern Hemisphere. Our goal is always to bring world-class equestrian sport to the widest possible audience, and Adelaide plays a vital role in connecting global fans with Australian eventing."
Heather Killen, CEO of Horse & Country, added:
"The Adelaide Equestrian Festival is one of the most important competitions in the international eventing calendar, and the only 5 Star in the Southern Hemisphere. Our continued partnership with the team at AEF reflects Horse & Country’s commitment to supporting the sport globally and ensuring that exceptional events like Adelaide receive the visibility they deserve, both at home and internationally."
Building on this success, the 2026 Adelaide Equestrian Festival is committed to expanding
its live streaming schedule to include the dressage phase of the Racing SA CCI3*-L class,
ensuring the Under-25 Oceania Championship teams gain the best possible exposure from
the very first phase of competition.
In another major win, the CCI3*-L class of the Cross Country phase will be available to view
live and free on Horse & Country platforms, including Samsung TV Plus, LG and Fetch
(Australia and NZ); Amazon Prime Video (UK and Germany); Roku and Xfinity (US); Ziggo
(NL) Telenet (Belgium) and Allente (Scandinavia).
Event Director, Kirsty Withers, said the broadcast results demonstrate the growing international appetite for world-class equestrian sport from Australia.
“To see the Adelaide Equestrian Festival showcased - and enjoyed - by such a global audience is a tremendous outcome. This exposure not only highlights the exceptional standard of competition here in Adelaide but also positions South Australia as a must-visit destination for equestrian fans around the world.”
The Adelaide Equestrian Festival forms a key part of Horse & Country’s international eventing coverage, which spans premier competitions across Europe, North America, and Australia. By delivering coverage across both hemispheres, H&C ensures year-round access to elite eventing while supporting the visibility and growth of the sport worldwide.
Viewers can stream coverage of the event from 16 - 19 April 2026, live or on demand via H&C’s subscription service, H&C+: www.horseandcountry.tv/en-au/event/adelaide-equestrian-festival
