FAQ's
Can I bring my dog? Yes, you can bring your dog, however they must be on a lead and under control at all times. And don’t forget to clean up after them!
Can I bring my own food? Yes, you can bring your own food and drinks (non alcoholic) to the venue. Bags are searched on entry.
Is the venue licenced to serve alcohol? The event site is covered by a liquor licence. We have an extensive range of beverages from vendors, and our bars are located in our premium hospitality and marketplace bars.
Can I buy tickets at the gate? Tickets are available online and via QR codes are positioned at each Gate to the Festival venue where you can scan and purchase. Festival staff are also on hand to help you make purchases until 12:00 PM each day. General Admission and Heritage Grandstand tickets can be purchased online and used for entry immediately, however please note that Hospitality Packages (Giddy up Club, VIP Lounge) should be purchased in advance to avoid missing out.
Do you support Companion Card holders? The Adelaide Equestrian Festival supports Companion Card holders. If you are attending the event and require ticketing for a support person please contact our team by email.It is a requirement that the card holder presents ID on entry. info@adelaideequestrianfestival.com
How can I enter the Festival site each day? You can enter the Festival from Fullarton Road at Gate 1 which is open every day. On Cross Country Day spectators can enter Rymill Park near the O-Bahn entrance, at the top of Bartels Road and East Terrace.
Is there parking? Unfortunately, we do not provide parking at the Festival Hub, Victoria Park. However U-Park offer spectators a special pre-purchased Car-Park fee of $7. We ask that if you choose to park in surrounding residential suburbs you respect the street signs and do not obstruct residents access.
Do you provide priority Access Viewing in Victoria Park? We are pleased to provide priority seating in front of the Heritage Grandstand for those who require mobility assistance to view the Dressage (Thursday and Friday) and Show Jumping (Sunday) phases, this will include all entertainment scheduled in the Gillian Rolton Main Arena.
I have mobility challenges, what's the best way to access the Cross Country course? A designated drop-off zone for those who require mobility assistance will be available from Bartels Road via Kent Town (vehicles are not permitted to park and will be towed). If you require accesss to the drop off zone, please email to arrange an Access Pass linked to your Ticket purchase. Is there a place Priority Access Viewing on Cross Country Day? Yes, we have a designated under-cover area for those with Disability Cards and their Companions. A map will be send to ticket buyers indicating this site the week of the event.
Are there Access toilets available? The Festival has two Access Toilets located at the Festival Hub in Victoria Park positioned behind the Grandstand. On Cross Country Day an Access Toilet is available in Rymill Park near the entrance to the Lakeside Tavern hospitality zone.
