Adelaide, Australia - The Adelaide Equestrian Festival is proud to announce that the highly anticipated ATCO Show Jumping Day will take place on Sunday April 23 2023. This exciting event will showcase the best equestrian athletes from around the world as they compete in the thrilling discipline of show jumping in our city parklands.

The ATCO Show Jumping Day is the final day of competition at the 2023 Adelaide Equestrian Festival, and spectators can expect to witness top-level riders and their horses demonstrate their mastery of this exhilarating sport. The competition will take place on a world-class show jumping course, designed to challenge the riders and showcase the athleticism of the horses.

"We are thrilled to host the ATCO Show Jumping Day as the finale of the 2023 Adelaide Equestrian Festival," said Adelaide Equestrian Festival Chairman Greg Rolton.

"Show jumping is a dynamic and exciting sport that requires exceptional skill and precision from both horse and rider and our event is the only one of its kind to be hosted across a CBD at the highest level of competition you will see in the Southern Hemisphere."

“The ATCO Show Jumping Day is a must-see for equestrian fans and action enthusiasts, and spectators can expect a thrilling day of world-class competition” said Rolton.

South Australian Minister for Tourism Zoe Bettison said “Sunday is the day for visitors and locals alike to ensure they don’t miss out on seeing the action at the Adelaide Equestrian Festival in the city’s parklands.

“It’s been wonderful to see record crowds back in the parklands – ticket sales already surpassed 2019 levels by day one of the festival, and we’ve seen spectators cheering on our nation’s elite equestrians in their first chance to compete in front of Olympic Selectors for Paris 2024.

“Festivals such as this are a great way for locals and visitors to experience the best of our state and I encourage people to come to the Parklands tomorrow for a day out like no other,” Minister Bettison said.

ATCO Australia Country Chair & Chief Financial Officer, John Ivulich, said ATCO was delighted to support the Adelaide Equestrian Festival and sponsor the ATCO Show Jumping Day.

“South Australia has been hosting some fantastic sporting events this month attracting people from around Australia and the world, and the Adelaide Equestrian Festival is one of them," Mr Ivulich said.

"The event is an opportunity for us to celebrate the incredible partnership between horse and rider and have visitors from across Australia and the world observe the talents of the ANZ’s top show jumpers – it’s something not to be missed.”
