Due to strict biosecurity regulations in SA, it is highly recommended that you purchase hay through Olivers prior to your arrival.

If you do bring any hay into the State you may be stopped by a Biosecurity Officer at the border and have the hay confiscated.

 

If you need to bring in your own hay then this will need to be inspected on arrival at the AEF venue by Biosecurity SA. This inspection WILL INCURR A FEE of $159.
 

Hay brought into SA from insterstate must be securely wrapped upon arrival, separated by one metre from other plant materials, and subjected to a Direct Inspection by a Biosecurity SA Officer before being released. These checks cannot be carried out at the border. Charges will apply.

 

It is highly recommended that you purchase hay through Oliver’s to be delivered to the AEF on your arrival.
